A387 Grade 22 Class 1 is a 2.25Cr‑1Mo alloy pressure vessel steel plate designed for medium‑temperature hydrogen service and high‑pressure petrochemical equipment. It provides excellent creep resistance, hydrogen corrosion resistance, and thermal stability up to approximately 600°C. The steel is supplied in normalized and tempered condition to ensure uniform microstructure and reliable weldability for large‑scale pressure vessels.

Chemical Composition

Cr‑Mo alloying provides oxidation resistance and long‑term creep strength under hydrogen exposure.

Mechanical Properties

These properties ensure safe performance in hydrogen reactors and high‑temperature pressure systems.
